Time for another Astrophonica-related post, this time Fracture & Neptune visited BBC Radio One dnb show and had a little chat with Fabio about their music and label. and also did an exclusive mix for the show. Disgusting basslines and sick beats ahead. Watch out.

I wrote about Mineral and his website earlier, but I've been a bit lazy reporting about the free tracks when they've been good stuff, and 100% finnish too :)
Anyway, this week's track is an old one from me and inZtance, and actually our first collaboration as well. It got some nice dj support around here and also on bassdrive, and it was planned for a vinyl release too. Unfortunately, if there is a possibility that something might go wrong, it usually will go wrong and as the result this tune ended up gathering dust on our hard drives.

The german leftfield drum'n'bass label Alphacut strikes again, this time with some beats from the shores of the Baltic Sea, Paranoid Society from Tallinn and Dejaru from Turku.
The a-side from Paranoid Society, "White Lies" is on the lighter tip with some nice percussions and photek-like breaks in the beginning, but towards the end the track mutates into an amen stormer. Dejaru keeps things dark with his track "Black Mask", which is a hard, break driven drum'n'bass track with a techno approach. Both tunes have been appearing in my sets for a long time.
The story goes. I finally ended up getting a Serato to help me not to move to a bigger apartment to have more storage space for vinyl. I also had some pretty good tunes waiting to be played out on my laptop. So here is my very first somewhat minimal d&b mix. Hope you like it!
